Saving the Oceans, One Step at a Time

Brandi Murdock-Lewin

Brandi Murdock-Lewin is the CEO of Murdock Community & Care Services, Inc., a nonprofit

organization based in Carson, California, dedicated to empowering communities through

three key pillars: Community Advocacy, Inclusive Programming, and Community Resources.

Under Brandi’s leadership, Murdock Community & Care Services champions community

advocacy  that address gaps and uplift local neighborhoods. Her work includes

leading efforts to bring a quality grocery store to the City of Carson, collaborating on major

development projects such as University & Central, and spearheading the creation of a

Disabilities Commission within the City of Carson.

Through the organization’s Inclusive Programming pillar, Brandi Murdock Community

offers weekend recreational activities—including pickleball, arts and crafts, boxing, and

dance—that bring together participants of all abilities.

Murdock Community adopts children of single-parent families for both back-to-school and

holiday seasons, providing clothing, supplies, and gifts.

Brandi holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Springfield College and a

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.

Her educational foundation has enabled her to specialize in strategic planning, organizational

developmentaq, marketing, and leadership.

A member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Orange County Chapter, Brandi

continues to advocate for equity, empowerment, and opportunity for women and families.
